Sorry i can not type in thai. I do , however, able to read thai font, so feel free to answer in thai if any of you feel your english is not strong. First of all, I am a thai student who has recently (probably permanently) moved to US about 4-5 years ago. I live in California, USA. Back when i was in Thailand, i have had my chance to play Summonner Master, and suffice to say, i loved it, but i had to stop since i was moving to US, But recently in Thai newspaper in my area reported that Pornpol Rakboonyaung(sorry about spelling mistake, i forgot what it was) recently came to US with the card game(i wasnt sure who it was at first, buti saw the picture of him and recognized it right away)! I was very excited, and very interested in this. I am currently playing Magic' The gathering at my local card shop and have been going there quite regularly, andi have many friends who plays the cards with me both thais and non-thais. I would like to try to spread our thai Trading card game starting at that store, but i have some problems: i do not know where the cards are being sold, and i do not know how much there would costt, Because if there cost so much due to the shipping from thailand, i dont know if i can try to get people to play it as easily, and , although i do have a job, will i be able to supply enough cards so that my colleagues can try them out. I love this trading card game very much, and would like to try to help your company by spreadign the words and t have them try to play the cards So any information that you can give me will be very helpful to both me and you, I would have people that play the card game that i used to loved, and you will have bussiness here in US! so please give me any information you can, thank you Paul Ekwuttipol Shadowsharp24@hotmail.com |

It's so cool to hear that you still wanna play Thai card game even though you're aboard.
Yeas dude, throw that magic cards away and lets play SMN!!!! Lol
Anyway, Ppor told me that, in the near future, SMN will be sold only in ร้านดอกหญ้า bookstore then hopefully spread to every card shop in other area as well. I guess its depending on the response from the children over there, whether they will spread the market range or not. ;D
���About the price, honestly, I have no idea. need to wait for Ppor na krub :)
But I do know that theres many starter deck for beginners which you can get them free over here, I hope there will be some shipped over there as well so that u wont have any problems teaching your friends na krub.
���At last, during these past 5 years, SMN has changed so much. Therefore, you might want to re-study the rules and card types before teaching your friends how to play these awesome cards.
���If theres any update, Im sure the Ppor will post the information for you himself. Im so glad for the company that they have a great supporter like you.

Well, Not all the people who play cards here are children, we do have hell of a lot more adult players than we do the kids. (well except for yugi-oh, there consider that game to be kinda childish here, but i saw an old guy who said to be about 50 years old but still play the game and trade with the kids sometimes even) . I dont know how the crowd here will respond to the cards either, buti will try to introduce them anyways, at its best i could just collect them for look i guess, i but i reall y do hope i can i find someone decent to play with. Iused to attend a lot of tournament back when i was in thailand so i probably consider myself to be decent. Thanks for responding anyways! |

I didnt know you came here to the US. Otherwise i would have gone to the Thailand Plaza myself :'( I was flipping through pages of MAHACHON and there your picture was in the back of the papers, i recognize you right away but wasnt sure. The card prices seem pretty cheap, at least i can afford some for my friends to play with and hope they like it and the prices of booster packs here seem to hover around $3 like you said. I've got one more problem though, my place is kinda far to any of the Dokya book stores , and i cant be travelling back and forth that far all the time, but if opportunity given i'll go one of these days that i'm not busy doing paperworks or something. I was also wondering, how many set had come out since the ...... bah i forgot the set's name, the one with the Valkyries? i also want to know what set is being sold at Dokya bookstore? And what if i want to buy cards in big bulk? Like here a box of booster packs cost around $80-$90 will there be anything like that? Though i dont think you will because you have just started the market over here, buti sure hope as hell it flourish, and i 'll my best to help it! P.S. : on the side note : i will probably, if not busy, be giving updates on this matter as i am doing it, so i that you guys will have some headstart on what to expect crowd over here . How cool?!
We're kinda on the same boat.
I have a foreigner friend,he's somehow stupid and lazy but useful.
He also plays Summoner Master but not as much as I do.
Actually,he's the owner of this ID.
He can't read Thai but that's not a problem at all,because
our decks are in English.Can't find any English Version now aday,
that is our problem.
But I spend my time translating Thai text to English text everynight.
It helps alot,eventhough it sounds strange.
Well,if any of your friends don't play Summoner Master with you,
just feel free to force them. (Kidding)
It would be great if you visit this website everyday,
people here are quite friendly.(I guess so)
They answer everything you ask,no matter what.
Sounds cool that you're going to throw your Magic The Gathering away.

ผมก็คิดว่าอาจจะไม่มีเพราะพี่พึ่งเริ่มตลาดที่นี่เอง แต่ผมก็หวังว่ามันจะไปได้สวยนะครับ

Well, Today I took my time to fight the traffic on the freeway to Dokya in Hollywood, But there were nothing about summoner master on the shelf! :-\ So i ask the cashier and he was silent, and said something about theres noone that come to put the products on the shelf, he seems unsure when the products will arrive , i do not want to waste anymore gas and time to go all the way to another dokya, which is in China town, far away from where i lived.
Do you know when are the products gonna arrive for sure? So that i dont have to go there just to find out its not there again. I do really want to share these with my friends on my magic tournament this coming friday, but i guess it has to be posponed
:'(
I will continue to come to this board time and time to ask questions and share my thougths. Its almost christmas! i cant believe this is the fifth year that i've been here, it seems so fast, My house is decorated with ornaments and stockings and the tree with candy canes again, i wonder whati will get for gifts this year, i hope i get to play SMN with someone! merry X'mas and God bless you all
P.S. Hollywood traffic is really bad after 5pm, everyone is getting out of work and going home, the freeway was filled with cars for miles X.x IT took me and hour just to get there =\

Wel i think they do shipping with UPS but only with merchantdise on their website only, so i dont think they'll do that jsut yet na krub P' jing :P |
